Bye Bye Bobby

According to sources, FSU mastermind Bobby Bowden will retire tomorrow at the age of 80. This is much bigger news than Fatty McFaterton getting canned up north. Bowden who single handedly put FSU on the map as a national powerhouse, was given two options by FSu President. Be a figurehead with no control (a la the last 5 years) or retire. It is certainly time for him to go, but he will leave a lasting mark. He leaves the NCAA as the second winningest coach ever behind equally geriatric Joe Paterno. Good luck filling those shoes Jimbo...and to all you FSU fans...be careful what you wish for...Jimbo's not that great either.
Favorite Bowden moment: Claiming Sebastian Janikowski wasn't late for curfew in his native Poland during the Sugar Bowl win in 2001...Hilarious!!!
