Super Bowl Match Up Set

The stage is set for what could be the greatest Super Bowl of all time. The Saints and the Colts are gonna clash in Miami and the story lines here couldn't be better. "The Kick" made by Saints kicker Garrett Hartley was the biggest in franchise history and maybe the biggest thing in the history of New Orleans...Well, since Mardi Gras, of course. And by the way, that kick was good from 65 yards.
Then we get the Peyton Manning storyline. He's at the Super Bowl for his 2nd time. He single handily out smarted the Jets tremendous defense. And I for one, am glad that we don't have to hear 2 more weeks of Rex Ryan's fat mouth. Seriously, your defense is good, your QB is Okay, and your sweater vest doesn't make u look skinny.

And the final storyline is of course, Brett Favre. Vikings fans wanted him, and boy did they get him last night. He played good, right up until he lost the game for his team...AGAIN!!! Oh sure the Vikings handled the football like that of a pre school power puff girl, but that last play made all the difference. First of all, your kicker, Ryan Longwell, would have made a 55 yard field goal, so you run the ball on 3rd and 15. Second of all, the play call on said 3rd down was good if Brett Favre wasn't your QB. There was no way he was running that ball. I would have bet my house that he threw that pick. So instead of Super Bowl glory, we get this as our lasting image of Brett Favre. Cuz there's no way he returns next year...or is there?
